Introduction
In my conversation with Rhonda Farrah (Episode 644), we unpacked something deeper than growth… we talked about truth.

Why This Topic Matters
If I’m being honest… this is where most people get it wrong.
We chase results.
We chase success.
We chase validation.
But we skip the one place everything actually starts… ourselves.
That’s the part that stood out to me in my conversation with Rhonda.
She didn’t just talk about transformation. She lived it. Incarceration. Breast cancer. Divorce. Financial collapse. And yet… she kept coming back to one thing.
Self-awareness.
And here’s the thing…
If you don’t understand who you are, what you need, and how you respond under pressure… you’re guessing your way through life.
Think about that.
Insight #1 — You Can’t Grow What You Won’t Face
Let me be clear…
Self-awareness is not a comfortable process.
Rhonda talked about “fixing your reflection first.” Not fixing your life. Not fixing other people.
Your reflection.
That hit me.
Because a lot of us will say the right things about ourselves…
“I’m confident.”
“I’m good.”
“I’ve got this.”
But do we actually believe it?
Rhonda shared how she used to look in the mirror and say positive things… but deep down, she didn’t fully mean them.
That disconnect?
That’s where people get stuck.
Because growth doesn’t come from what you say.
It comes from what you’re willing to confront.
If you’re reading this… take a moment and ask yourself:
Where am I avoiding the truth about myself?
That matters.
Insight #2 — Awareness Drives Better Decisions
You know what I’ve noticed?
When you don’t know yourself… your decisions are reactive.
You fall into patterns.
You repeat cycles.
You attract the same outcomes.
Rhonda broke this down in a powerful way when she talked about relationships.
People say they want better… but they don’t believe they deserve better.
So they attract what reflects their internal state.
Like attracts like.
That’s not just a concept. That’s reality.
And I’ve seen this firsthand.
The more aware you become of your triggers, your habits, your mindset…
the more intentional your decisions become.
You stop reacting.
You start choosing.
And that shift?
That’s where real growth begins.
Insight #3 — Your Power Starts From Within
We spend too much time looking outside ourselves for answers.
Validation.
Approval.
Direction.
But Rhonda said something that really stuck with me:
You have the power within you… regardless of your circumstances.
That’s not motivational talk. That’s responsibility.
Because once you accept that… you can’t play the victim anymore.
And look, life is going to happen.
There are going to be valleys. I talk about this all the time.
But what gets you out of the valley?
Knowing yourself.
Knowing what lifts you.
Knowing what grounds you.
Knowing what pulls you forward.
For me… it’s conversations like this. It’s podcasting. It’s connection.
That’s how I climb.
What about you?
Lessons for Living Audaciously
This conversation wasn’t just about self-awareness.
It was about ownership.
So here’s your challenge:
Take a moment and sit with yourself… no distractions.
Ask yourself:
What am I avoiding?
What patterns keep showing up in my life?
What do I actually believe about myself?
And don’t rush the answer.
Because the quality of your life…
is directly tied to the quality of your self-awareness.
I believe this.
So let me leave you with this…
Are you truly living your life…
or just reacting to it?
