Episode #173: The Way of Yoga Featuring Troy Hadeed

"How are you changing your world? Because whether you change the world or not, that is not an option. Everything we do everything, we see everything we think, everything we put out, there is an energetic vibrational exchange that impacts the world around us. So it's so important that we bring more intention to how we live our lives.”

Remaining focused on the the now and being present to enjoy the moment is a powerful way for all of us to live our lives. Doing so comes with two awesome benefits. First, you’re actually able to enjoy life more. You pay attention to the small things and are able to notice simple pleasures that emerge from your moment-by-moment experiences that we often times miss because we’re unconscious in the moment or distracted. The second benefit is that we become more effective in dealing with all the things life throws our way.

No matter how out-of-control your day is, no matter how stressful your job or life becomes, the act of being present can become an oasis. It can change your life, and it’s incredibly simple. Whether we're trying to be a better leader or a better person, the ability assess and evaluate where we're at versus where you want to be is key to the overall self improvement process. It’s something you do not only for your benefit but for the sake of those who you look to make a positive impact on.

“Yoga comes in with the mind, first and foremost because we have so much people in the world today who have an overactive mind, they're stressed the mind is overactive mind is anxious. We have depression, we have everything happening.”

Troy Hadeed was born in Trinidad, wrote his first letter to the editor at 10, has taught yoga internationally for over 15 years, and has founded several successful businesses. In all things, Troy hopes that his life will assist others in rediscovering a relationship with the God of their understanding while inspiring people to embody more compassion, understanding, and love.

Troy joins The Audacious Living Podcast to discuss the power of being present and being in the now, the difference between hope and faith in adversity and the benefits of yoga on our lives.
